Body mists & the new Sofia Coppola book 🎀
Long time no see! Another week, another list of things I’ve been watching, reading, listening to and thinking about.
Things I've Been Obsessed With Lately
The Sol de Janeiro 62 body mist carried me through the entire summer, because I was unfortunately born with a taste for expensive perfume and a distaste for spending more than 100$ in a bottle of anything. That means I’ll stick to smelling like pistachio and salted caramel until I unexpectedly get a bottle of Kilian’s Liaisons Dangereuses for my birthday in October (CC:: myboyfriend, who reads this newsletter for gift ideas). But all jokes aside, I love Sol de Janeiro’s body mist and I’m planning to get my hands on more of their scents soon!
That Barbie tshirt from Marshalls - if you follow me on insta, you might’ve seen I was looking for a specific vintage-looking printed Barbie tee from Marshalls. The only problem is I don’t live in the US, and even the ones being sold second-hand were hard to get shipped to this small European country (Genovia, I’m from Genovia). Long story short, I had a handful of incredibly sweet US citizens looking for this Barbie t-shirt for me, and one of them finally found one my size and is very kindly sending it my way. Thank you again, Audrey, if you’re reading this! 💖
This (now sold out?) Coach cherry handbag. Because it’s CUTE!🍒
Books I've Discovered Recently
Archive by Sofia Coppola - I spent some of the most formative years of my life obsessively watching Sofia Coppola movies, and her work most definitely shaped my personal taste and the things I create now, so I need her new book in my life. Archive is a coffee table book featuring her “personal collection of photographs and ephemera, including early development work, reference collages, influences, annotated scripts, and unseen behind-the-scenes documentation”, offering a detailed account of all eight of her films to date.
